Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit a selected group of stores weekly to scan product barcodes and collect data. This role supports retailers by analyzing scanned information to boost sales performance and ensure accurate in-store data collection.

You will use a downloadable smartphone app to capture barcode data, with typical hours around 4–6 per week across stores, and occasional additional work for special projects throughout the year.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes.
• Collect data to improve the sales performance for the retailer.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Work approximately 4–6 hours per week with occasional extra hours.
• Remain dependable and meet weekly deadlines.
