Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Part-Time Veterinarian to serve the Chicago North Shore area and surrounding communities. You’ll provide hospice and euthanasia care in families' homes, balancing professional fulfillment with personal freedom.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Support families during one of life’s meaningful moments with clinical expertise and empathy.
• Deliver high-quality in-home clinical care while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors and practice managers for continuous growth.
