Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve the South Shore, MA area including New Bedford and surrounding towns. You will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, aligning with the company’s mission to support families during meaningful moments.

The role offers flexible 2-5 day per week schedules, a guaranteed base salary, and opportunities for bonuses. A mobile practice with mentorship and a strong support network awaits you.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients' homes.
• Work as a mobile veterinarian delivering compassionate care.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors and support staff to maintain high-quality service.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
