Job summary

The Occupational Therapist I (OT I) for Alternate Solutions Health Network, LLC provides comprehensive skilled care in patients’ homes under physician orders. The part-time role spans three days weekly (8:15am–5:00pm) serving Dover, New Philadelphia, Bolivar, Beach City, Dalton and Canton/Massillon as needed.

Candidates must hold a current OT license in Ohio, have at least one year of OT experience in an acute setting, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of OT experience in an acute setting is required.
• Home health experience is desired.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with your name as listed driver.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy in a patient’s home as ordered by the attending physician.
• Evaluates patient functioning using diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
• Develops an individualized OT plan of care and adjusts as needed.
• Documents all aspects of treatment, assessments and patient education.
• Ensures compliance with Medicare/Federal guidelines and agency protocol.
