Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Lead Caregiver in Washington to support clients with daily living activities, transportation, and training shifts for new caregivers. You must be able to travel in a reliable vehicle and hold a WA driver’s license with active auto insurance. Expect flexible scheduling and consistent hours.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in home care and a valid HCA or NAC license. Training is provided, and weekly pay is available.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license.
• One year of home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide transportation to errands and appointments.
• Support with meal preparation, bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Offer companionship and monitor client condition.
• Transport clients between care locations as needed.

Lead Caregiver Summary

Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts. This includes but is not limited to fill-ins, new clients and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branches of service areas.

Pay: $22hr

REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle, have WA Driver's license and active auto insurance.

Current Needs

Tuesday-Saturday open availability from 8am or 9am to 5pm or 6pm

Friday-Monday or Tuesday from 8am or 9am to 5pm or 6pm

Sunday-Thursday from 8am-6pm

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
