Job summary

Chileda Institute Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician to support children and families in La Crosse County, including La Crosse, Onalaska, and Holmen. The role focuses on in-home and community services, teaching essential life skills, and implementing BSPs to improve quality of life.

Hours are flexible (approximately 12 hours/week, 3:30 PM–7:00 PM). Applicants must be 18+, hold a high school diploma, have strong communication and time management skills, and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites in the county.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community support to children and families.
• Teach life skills, daily activities, social interactions, and communication.
• Implement Behavior Support Plans (BSP) to address challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with Shine Community Services team.
