Job summary

Solara Autism Services seeks compassionate, energetic Behavior Therapists to provide in-home ABA services throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut. The Part-Time Behavior Therapist will work one-on-one with children in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.

We provide comprehensive training, ongoing supervision, and support for team members pursuing RBT certification and career advancement within ABA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, Special Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children is preferred, ABA experience is a plus but not required.
• RBT certification preferred but not required; paid training and support provided.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel throughout Fairfield County.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in homes under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, school readiness, and daily living skills.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching procedures to increase skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate session data and complete daily clinical documentation.
• Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training.
• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and clinical procedures.
