Job summary

Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate, energetic RBTs to provide in-home ABA services in Fairfield County, Connecticut. This part-time role involves one-on-one therapy with children, implementing plans created by a BCBA, and helping develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills in the child’s natural environment.

Flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay are offered, along with paid training and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities preferred
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
• Ability to remain active during therapy sessions (sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention techniques
• Collect accurate session data and maintain clinical documentation
• Communicate progress with supervising BCBAs
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development
• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community
• Maintain a safe, engaging therapeutic environment and adhere to ethics and policies
