Job summary

Solara Autism Services seeks compassionate, energetic RBTs to deliver in-home ABA therapy in Fairfield County, CT. You’ll work one-on-one with children in their homes, implementing plans created by a BCBA and focusing on communication, social, play, daily living, and adaptive skills.

You will follow evidence-based strategies, collect session data, and collaborate with families and the clinical team to promote skill generalization in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team.
• Ability to remain active throughout therapy sessions, including sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding quickly to client behaviors.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention techniques.
• Collect accurate session data and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and professional development.
• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
• Follow all BACB RBT Ethics Code standards, company policies, and insurance documentation requirements.
