Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in their homes. This part-time role offers 12–20 hours weekly, competitive hourly pay, and growth opportunities toward RBT certification and BCBA pathways.

Responsibilities include implementing ABA-based strategies, tracking progress, and collaborating with families and the treatment team. A high school diploma, RBT certification (or pursuing), and a reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT Certification if already obtained.
• Valid driver’s license & personal vehicle.
• Tablet or Laptop required for sessions (not a phone).
• Passion for working with children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in ABA.
• Flexible transportation arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data entry in the online system.
• Participates in ongoing training to improve skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
