Job summary

Butterfly Effects in Cumming, GA is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to help children with autism in their homes from weekdays 3-7pm. The role supports ABA-based plans under a BCBA, with in-home sessions and data collection.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, RBT certification if held, and strong interpersonal skills. 12-20 hours weekly, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for growth toward BCBA with our training

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: RBT certification if obtained.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
• Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to pursue ongoing development.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Devices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in our online database.
• Participates in continuous training to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
