Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist shifts across our retail stores within the district, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and patient care. You will travel as scheduled by the DPC and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts without overlap.

The role requires active state pharmacist license, an active NPI, and compliance with all applicable laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Maintain patient safety through accurate dispensing and labeling.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and DL; cover shifts as needed.
• Support immunizations and clinical services where permissible.
• Ensure compliance with laws, CVS policies, and privacy.
