Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across the district. You will cover pharmacist shifts, supervise store operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, and help ensure safe dispensing and immunization services for patients.

In this role, you’ll travel within the district, maintain compliance with CVS policies, and mentor staff to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while coordinating with the broader healthcare team to resolve

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient health through dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Travel within district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and direct a pharmacy team in absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Coach staff to deliver compassionate patient care and resolve insurance issues.
• Deliver immunizations and support technicians in immunization training.
• Maintain inventory and protect cold-chain products across pharmacies.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state laws and CVS policies.
