Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Imaging Console Operations in Indianapolis, IN. This part-time role involves operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and supporting security procedures to maintain a secure environment.

Pay rate is $17.22 per hour with a schedule that includes Night shifts: Tue 10:00 PM–06:00 AM and Wed 10:00 PM–06:00 AM, providing flexible opportunities to join our team and gain experience in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or other authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and perform inspections as assigned, identifying prohibited or suspicious items and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter, and document observations and incidents.
