Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at an Ontario, CA site. This role offers reliable fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to grow earnings and gain hands-on experience in the industry.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Duties include customer service to clients, employees and visitors; monitoring access points; responding to incidents; conducting patrols; and enforcing site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Background- and drug-screening as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and control access at the site, verify credentials, issue visitor materials, and direct authorized personnel.
• Observe traffic at access points and report any policy violations or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, premises, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized entry.
