Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer / Patrol in Ontario, CA. You will monitor access points, patrol facilities, and provide customer service while upholding the company’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

Role requires security experience, license where applicable, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. The position offers flexible day/evening shifts with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driving license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors at a utilities-related location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; document observations and notify contacts.
• Complete detailed logs and reports while maintaining professional presence.
