Job summary

Rivers Health is seeking a part-time ICU Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team in West Virginia. The role requires an active WV nursing license and BCLS, with ACLS/PALS preferred.

The RN will perform initial assessments, develop and adjust care plans, document care, educate patients, assist with discharge planning, and contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing with WV license.
• BCLS required; PALS and ACLS preferred.
• One year nursing experience; critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment of patient.
• Formulates a plan of care and nursing diagnosis based on the assessment.
• Revises and updates plan of care through continuous monitoring and evaluation of patient.
• Documentation of care and patient education/discharge planning.
• Delegates tasks and participates in CQI activities.
