Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist in Columbus, OH. This part-time role (25 hours or less per week) supports the Store Manager and delivers the Hi Five Guest Experience with friendly service.

You will prepare hand-dipped cones, shakes, malts, sodas and other food service items while maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked store conditions. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal, gas console, check IDs and use price book.
• Ability to operate all store equipment according to operating instructions.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, and make change.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience and greet Guests warmly.
• Prepare shakes, malts, cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Operate POS terminal and gas console, process transactions and give accurate change.
