Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in Boston, MA is hiring part-time Scoopers for the Lyrik Back Bay shop. Earn $17.00 per hour plus average $4.50-$8 per hour in tips, with shifts at least three per week and occasional late nights past 12 am.

You'll greet guests, scoop and serve, educate them on flavors, and maintain high standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Food handler certificate required and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food handlers certificate required.
• Available to work 3 days a week including nights and weekends past 12 am.
• Dexterity to prepare and serve all menu items.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and hospitality.
• Scoop and serve all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Educate guests on flavors, ingredients, and offerings.
• Prepare all fresh, house-made menu items daily.
• Operate Square POS system for seamless checkout.
• Follow food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock/inventory tasks.
• Complete daily tasks including cleaning and organization.
• Adhere to safety, grooming, and conduct standards.
