Job summary

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in Studio City, CA is hiring part-time Scoopers to join our shop team. You will greet guests, scoop and serve all menu items, educate guests on flavors, and maintain cleanliness and safety while delivering friendly hospitality.

Applicants must be 18+, have a genuine passion for ice cream, and be available for at least three shifts per week, including nights and weekends after 12am. A food handlers certificate is required.

• Available to work 3 days a week including nights and weekends past 12 am
• Able to stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly, with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality
• Scoop and serve guests all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Serve as a Van Leeuwen Ambassador, educating guests on flavors and offerings
• Prepare fresh, house-made menu items daily
• Operate Square POS system for seamless checkout
• Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation
• Complete daily tasks including stocking, inventory, and cleaning
• Follow safety, grooming, and uniform standards
