Job summary

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in Ardmore, PA is hiring part-time Scoopers for our Suburban Square shop. You’ll be a brand ambassador, delivering hospitality and high standards in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

We value self-starters with positive energy and strong people skills who love ice cream. The role offers $13.00 per hour plus an average of $10 per hour in tips, with at least three shifts weekly and some late shifts past midnight.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Genuine passion for ice cream and desserts.
• Dexterity to prepare and serve all menu items.
• Able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Walk up and down stairs.
• Stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work 3 days a week including nights and weekends past 12 am.
• Reliable, on time and ready for every shift.
• Food handlers certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly, with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality.
• Scoop and serve guests all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Educate guests on flavors, ingredients and special offerings.
• Prepare all fresh, house made menu items daily.
• Operate the Square POS System for checkout.
• Follow food safety procedures and maintain sanitation.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stocking/inventory duties.
• Complete daily tasks including stocking and cleaning.
• Adhere to Van Leeuwen’s safety, grooming, and conduct standards.
