Job summary

EventEQ, part of Entertainment Technology Partners, is seeking a part-time inventory coordinator in Columbia, MD. You will track equipment with our system, prepare gear for events, and support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure show-ready gear.

We value accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organized. This role offers exposure to AV equipment and live productions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Track equipment accurately by scanning gear in and out through the inventory management system.
  • Pull equipment according to show orders and production requirements; stage, pack, and document for outgoing events.
  • Inspect returned equipment and assist with cleaning, organization, and basic cosmetic repairs; identify gear needing further inspection.

Location: Columbia, MD | Part - Time | Pay Range: $16.50 – $19.88/HR (Based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do
Keep Equipment Moving
  • Track equipment accurately by scanning gear in and out through our inventory management system.
  • Maintain inventory records that support availability, accountability, and operational efficiency.
  • Verify equipment movement to ensure accurate documentation throughout the gear lifecycle.
Prepare Gear for Events
  • Pull equipment according to show orders and production requirements.
  • Stage, pack, and document equipment for outgoing events.
  • Help ensure orders leave complete, accurate, and ready for execution.
Support Equipment Turnaround
  • Inspect returned equipment and confirm quantities against manifests.
  • Assist with cleaning, organization, and basic cosmetic repairs.
  • Identify gear that requires additional inspection or maintenance.
Manage Shipping and Receiving
  • Support incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Review shipping documentation and manifests for accuracy.
  • Assist with domestic and international event logistics requirements.
Improve Warehouse Operations
  • Partner with internal teams to maintain smooth operational workflows.
  • Help organize inventory locations and support warehouse efficiency.
  • Contribute to a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
  • Experience in audiovisual equipment, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related environment is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of audio/visual equipment experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining organization.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
  • Interest in learning event technology and supporting live productions.
