Job summary

EventEQ, part of Entertainment Technology Partners, seeks an organized equipment handler in Columbia, MD. The role focuses on ensuring equipment readiness, inventory accuracy, and safe, production-ready gear preparation for live events.

You will inspect, clean, label, and test video equipment, review reservations, and stage gear for shipment while supporting warehouse operations and order fulfilment. Compensation aligns with experience, based on a $16.50-$19.88 hourly range.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on audiovisual experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect video equipment and components to identify cleaning, repair, or preparation needs before deployment.
• Perform routine cleaning, label replacement, and minor cosmetic repairs to maintain quality standards.
• Test and prepare equipment to ensure it meets customer and show requirements.
• Review rental reservations and show orders to verify equipment requirements.
• Gather, stage, and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Confirm all required accessories and ancillary items are included and ready for delivery.
