Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC invites a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our California team in a flexible hybrid, part-time capacity. The role emphasizes comprehensive nutritional assessments, care plan development, and education for residents in skilled nursing facilities.

The position supports 24–32 hours per week with 2–3 on-site visits and remaining hours remote. Competitive hourly pay, travel time reimbursement, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews for high-risk residents.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other care team members.
Ensure compliance with CMS and State health requirements.
