Job summary

Meridian-International-Center in Washington, DC seeks an Audiovisual (AV) Specialist for part-time, 20 hours per week. You will support setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV for meetings, trainings, live events, and hybrid broadcasts under the Senior Director, Operations.

The role requires 3+ years of AV experience, familiarity with audio/video systems, and ability to work with Zoom/Teams/Qlab and streaming platforms. Partial remote work may be available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting AV systems, platforms, and video conferencing in a professional services environment.
• Or any equivalent training/education/experience demonstrating essential functions.
• Familiarity with audio systems, microphones, projectors, video displays, and streaming technologies.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down audiovisual equipment for meetings and live events.
• Operate sound systems; manage microphones, video displays, monitors, recording equipment, mixing consoles, and cabling.
• Test AV performance before meetings to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot AV issues during events and meetings.
• Maintain AV documentation, procedures, and inventory.
