Ventura County Community College District is accepting applications on an on-going basis for part-time instructors in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating at Oxnard, Moorpark, and Ventura colleges. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience or an associate degree with six years of professional experience.
Alternative equivalent qualifications may apply; credential required for teaching in the discipline.
Professional experience is required when a master’s degree is not held.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction via lecture, lab, or performance courses and assess student learning outcomes.
Advise students on programs of study and available resources.
Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
Plan instruction aligned with course outlines and student learning outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, and progress.
Select instructional materials and revise content to reflect current developments.
Participate in curriculum development and committee work as needed.
