Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications per CCC Board of Governors for the discipline.
- Master's in English, literature, or composition; OR BA with Master's in related field; OR equivalent.
- All coursework must be from an accredited college or university.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom instruction by lecture, lab, or performance courses.
- Advise students on programs of study and transfer options.
- Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Plan instruction aligned with course outlines and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of enrollment, progress, and outcomes.
- Evaluate and select instructional materials and order textbooks.
- Revise course content to reflect new theory and industry developments.
- Update syllabi and collaborate on measurable outcomes.
