Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Teaching Certificate and experience in Adult Education preferred.
• Special Instructions to Applicants require unofficial transcripts and training certifications.
• Official transcripts required prior to first day of work or hire date; foreign degrees must be evaluated.
• Veterans’ preference documentation to be submitted during application process.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to students.
• Prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities.
• Develop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance; grade and record scores.
• Provide classroom demonstrations on equipment; develop laboratory assignments for hands-on experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance; submit required paperwork on time.
• Oversee implementation of CFCC policies and procedures in the teaching area.
• Oversee field studies and travel with students to provide assistance and instruction.
