Job summary

M. Price Distributing Company in Hampton, VA is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to join our team with a flexible schedule negotiated to fit both your and our needs. The role focuses on payroll, benefits administration and employee relations, with no benefits offered.

You'll work closely with the HR Recruiter and Department Head to maintain compliance, provide reports, and uphold company values while supporting development and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• HR Generalist with compliance, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration exposure.
• Self-starter with an eye for detail and the ability to read people.
• Familiar with payroll (preferably ADP) and benefits administration.
• Provide management with requested reports and documents; maintain employee files.
• Basic knowledge of labor and employment laws; strong organizational skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and execute leave policies, disciplinary matters, performance reviews, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
• Maintain accurate employee files and HR records.
• Collaborate with the Department Head on employee recognition and engagement programs.
• Support payroll processes and benefits administration; generate standard HR reports.
