Job summary

Manthey Hospitality seeks a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our Nashville team. This onsite role handles day-to-day HR needs, onboarding, benefits, and payroll, working closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure policy consistency and responsive employee support.

The position requires visiting the boat at least twice weekly and managing recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of HR experience in a generalist or coordination role.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits and payroll.
• Working knowledge of employment requirements and escalation where needed.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work onsite in downtown Nashville and visit the boat weekly.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, I-9 and onboarding docs.
• Prepare offer letters, conduct new-hire orientation, and collect onboarding paperwork.
• Coordinate first-day arrangements and ensure onboarding is complete.
• Support payroll, benefits enrollment, and timecard corrections.
