CMC Hotels is seeking a Part-Time Houseman/Porter for the Fairfield Inn & Suites RDU/Brier Creek location. You will help maintain guest satisfaction by keeping public areas and guest rooms clean and orderly.

Duties include cleaning public areas, stocking storerooms, reporting maintenance issues, and handling trash and linens. We offer competitive wages based on experience, paid vacation, holiday pay, 401k, virtual health care and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Understand all standards of room cleanliness.
• Clean all public areas in and around the hotel.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms.
• Sweep and vacuum floors.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Spot clean walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
• Replenish storeroom supplies when necessary.
• Keep storerooms neat and orderly.

Job Description- Responsible for helping achieve ongoing guest satisfaction through the upkeep and cleanliness of public areas and guest rooms.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Understanding all standards of room cleanliness
• Clean all public areas in and around the Hotel
• Removing trash and dirty linens from rooms
• Sweeping and vacuuming floors
• Reporting any Maintenance issues to your immediate supervisor
• Spot cleaning walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
• Replenishing storeroom supplies when necessary
• Keeping storerooms neat and orderly

Job Requirements:

• Be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
• Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary, up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and / or walk for extended period of time.
