Job summary

Sage-Haus in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Part-Time House Manager to oversee daily household life for a family. The role is approximately 20 hours per week with core hours 2:00–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday; Fridays may be flexible. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, W-2. Start date ASAP.

You will coordinate school pickups, household chores, laundry, errands, and meal support, while teaching kids practical skills in a collaborative, private home environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a household management, family assistant, or similar professional role.
• Reliable personal transportation; use of a family vehicle may be available as needed.
• Maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Basic vaccinations required and up to date per AA and CDC guidelines; flu and COVID vaccinations preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable driving minors and participating in neighborhood carpools.

Responsibilities

• School pickups and activity drop-offs; be present for late-afternoon arrivals.
• Participate in neighborhood carpools as needed.
• Guide and coach kids through after-school responsibilities with warm, firm accountability.
• Enforce household screen and device rules; restrict usage until tasks are completed.
• Create, implement, and maintain organizational systems throughout the home; manage seasonal projects.
• Daily resets: dishes, counters, tidying; prepare home ahead of cleaner visits.
• Assist with dinner party prep and hosting; support holiday setups and travel packing.
• Notice and report household issues and coordinate with vendors or repair visits when needed.
• Light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs and smoke detector checks.
