Job summary

Sage Haus in Clayton, Missouri seeks a part-time House Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy medical family of five. The role offers 15–20 hours per week with weekday daytime shifts and flexible timing, with Monday as an anchor day. Compensation is $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include household organization, errands, meals, laundry, vendor oversight, and occasional backup childcare. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Up-to-date vaccinations per AAP and CDC guidelines.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and self-sufficient approach.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to navigate stairs and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Household Management & Organization: create and maintain easy, predictable systems for kids and parents.
• Inventory Management & Errands: track pantry, fridge, supplies and run monthly errands.
• Meal Planning & Preparation: shop, prep, and pantry management for weekly meals.
• Laundry & Linen Care: wash, dry, fold, sort, and maintain linens.
• Vendor & Property Oversight: supervise service providers and coordinate repairs.
• Deep Cleaning & Special Projects: regularly deep clean and refresh spaces.
• Family, Child, & Administrative Support: manage calendars and provide backup childcare.
• Note: role requires a background check.
