Job summary

Sage Haus in Wilmette, IL is seeking a Part-Time House Manager / Family Assistant to support a busy household. The role focuses on cooking, organization, meal prep, grocery management, and keeping the home running smoothly.

You will work 15–20 hours weekly on 2–3 days, with Mondays anchored, and daytime hours finishing by 5:00 PM. Mileage reimbursement is provided and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or attainable.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a home and organizing household systems.
• Ability to cook healthy meals for a family.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not current.
• Vaccination requirements aligned with CDC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Meal Support: prepare 4–5 meals weekly and keep produce stocked.
• Household Organization & Maintenance: lead organization projects, set up systems, prep for cleaners.
• Inventory & Errands: restock pantry, manage supply lists and returns.
• Family Support: provide light backup childcare when au pair unavailable; coordinate appointments.
• Vehicle Upkeep: schedule maintenance and manage registrations/insurance.
• Deep Cleaning & Special Projects: periodic deep cleans and seasonal prep of home spaces.
• Vendor & Property Oversight: request quotes and coordinate home repairs.
