Job summary

Sage Haus, LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a House Manager / Family Assistant to support two school-age children and maintain a warm, organized home. The role requires coordinating after-school routines, meal preparation, errands, and light household tasks with initiative and compassion.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated experience working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly ADHD and/or high-functioning autism.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Up-to-date vaccinations per CDC guidelines.
• Reliable transportation (public transit, walking, or rideshare acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Provide after-school structure and check-ins for both children from the time they arrive home.
• Support the older child with calm redirection, reminders, and routines; build trust and a relationship over time.
• Engage the younger child with high energy, creativity, and proactive prompting; channel energy into reading or productive activity.
• Oversee daily routines and organize cubbies, lunch packaging, backpacks, and house-wide organization.
• Coordinate occasional activity pickups or drop-offs for the younger child.
