Job summary

Loews Chicago O'Hare is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect guests, team members and property. You will patrol the hotel, control access points and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication and decisive action.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hotel security or related field preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Basic first-aid certification or ability to administer first aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances and hotel areas.
• Conduct regular patrols and identify safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies per Emergency Response Procedures.
• Maintain logs for visitors and packages.
• Inspect packages entering/exiting the premises.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Enforce hotel policies and communicate with guests and staff.
• Operate CCTV and report suspicious activity.
• Coordinate with management on safety issues.
• Assist in lost-and-found processes.
