Job summary

Loews Chicago O'Hare is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard guests, team members, and property. You will patrol the hotel, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed logs to ensure safety and seamless guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in hotel security, calm under pressure, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel security or related field (1–3 years preferred).
• Remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Operate departmental vehicles including electric transport vehicles as needed.
• First aid certification or ability to administer first aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances.
• Conduct regular hotel patrols to identify safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies per Emergency Response Procedures.
• Maintain logs for visitor access and package removal.
• Inspect packages entering and leaving the premises.
• Document security incidents and actions taken.
