Job summary

The Midtown Hotel, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Part Time Houseperson to join our team. You will support the Housekeeping department with stocking and delivery of supplies and assist the room attendants to maintain the hotel’s public areas and facilities.

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining public areas, assisting with room deliveries, and ensuring a high standard of guest service while working a rotational 7-day schedule including evenings,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferred.
• Perform consistent work at the highest standard.
• Remain discreet and respect privacy of guests.
• Work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Excellent customer service skills, pleasant, and friendly.
• Detail oriented and thorough.
• Willingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive list of assignments and prioritize items.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Check inventory of cleaning cart and stock supplies.
• Clean and maintain exterior and interior areas of the hotel.
• Deep cleaning of assigned areas including rooms and public spaces.
• Deliver items to guest rooms upon request from front desk.
• Notify maintenance of needed repairs and assist with setup of rooms and meetings.
