Job summary

Cambria Hotel Templeton-Paso Robles is seeking a part-time General Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Templeton, CA. The role covers corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance of the property, including guest rooms, public areas and equipment, with a focus on service and safety.

The position requires weekend evening availability and practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and basic HVAC.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, screening and locks.
• Proper tool and chemical use.
• Experience/knowledge in maintenance tasks from 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests and staff to resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines.
• Carry equipment as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics related to building systems.
• Follow safety procedures and use Lockout/Tagout when servicing equipment.
