Job summary

The Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis University Area Hotel is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper to assist during our busy season. You will clean guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to MCR standards, greet guests with warmth, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

Teamwork and punctuality are essential, and you will work closely with front desk and laundry staff to ensure efficiency. This role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to follow established guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to handle pace and pressure in a busy hotel.
• Listening and conflict resolution with co-workers and guests.
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly.
• Hospitality and guest service mindset.
• Must be 18 years or older; varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pre-cleaning duties include stocking supplies and tools on cart, attending morning stand-up meeting, folding and/or assisting with dirty linen in housekeeping laundry room.
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift.
• As assigned by direct supervisor, assist with cleaning in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and room deep cleaning activities.
