Hilton Garden Inn Lakeland is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair hotel systems, guest rooms, and common areas. You will perform routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and respond to work orders to keep the property in top condition.

Ideal candidates have general maintenance experience and a customer-friendly demeanor. Training is provided; weekends and on-call coverage may be required for this full-time/part-time role in a welcoming Hilton-branded

Qualifications

• General maintenance, repair, mechanical, construction, or facilities experience preferred.
• Hotel-specific maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with guests and team members.
• Driver’s license strongly preferred

Job Description

Hilton Garden Inn is looking for a reliable, hands-on Hotel Maintenance Engineer to help keep our hotel well-maintained and running smoothly for our guests and team members. This is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, friendly, and comfortable handling a variety of building maintenance tasks.

Hotel maintenance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong general maintenance skills and a willingness to learn. Schedule

· Full-time and part-time positions available

· Day shift

· Hotels operate seven days a week, so rotating weekends and holidays are required

· Rotating on-call coverage is required (premium pay for call-ins)
