Qualifications

• Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning hotel guest rooms and public areas, including changing beds, dusting, vacuuming and related tasks to meet standards.
• Help clean guest room toilets and lavatories and maintain supplies for sanitary facilities.
• Report maintenance needs to the Accommodation Services supervisor to uphold department standards.
• Maintain records of room inventory, lost and found, and noted items using department forms.
• Stock and check supplies from the floor supply closet for guest rooms as required.
• Remove trash and waste to designated areas and handle recyclables per policy.
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpeted areas to extend carpet life and keep facility clean.
• Clean glass and mirrors with appropriate solutions to present a tidy facility.
• Dust and wash walls, ceilings, doors and horizontal surfaces for a clean appearance.
