Hampton Inn Evansville is seeking a qualified hotel engineer to operate and maintain centralized HVAC and building systems on a part-time, on-site basis. You will inspect, repair and prevent downtime while following safety procedures to keep the property running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has hotel maintenance experience, understands HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, can read blueprints, and communicates effectively with team members. A strong work ethic and self-initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Vocational training or an associate degree or certification in a related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate central HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boiler, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and repair economically.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis.
