Job summary

Hampton Inn Evansville in Evansville, IN seeks a Part-time Hotel Maintenance Engineer to efficiently operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen-related systems across the property.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and ensure safety and reliability of all building services. Vocational training or certification and good communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen systems
• Vocational training or certs, and/or an associate’s degree; state licensure where required
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• High work ethic and self-initiative

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
• Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, ice machines, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and fix them quickly and cost-effectively
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis
