Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee, part of The Marcus Corporation, is hiring a part-time Café Server to join our Downtown Milwaukee team. You will provide food and beverage services in a friendly, timely, and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction while upholding service standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, inputting orders, delivering items with condiments, assisting with menu knowledge, and supporting coworkers as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred.
• Innate desire to serve and ability to maintain service and departmental standards.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
• Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
• Maintain self‑banking procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
