Homewood Suites New Orleans French Quarter is seeking a friendly Part-Time Hotel Bartender to run the lobby bar. The role covers Sundays and Mondays with additional Saturday coverage, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM and 4:00 PM–10:00 PM shifts, in a dry-bar setting with disposable service.

You will handle setup, serve beer and wine, and provide guest recommendations while adhering to brand standards and local alcohol laws. A stable, customer-focused approach is essential.

This role is ideal for someone looking for a set part-time schedule with additional coverage opportunities.Our lobby bar is a dedicated dry-bar setup with fully disposable service. Service focuses on a streamlined, low-complexity beverage menu: beer, wine, canned craft cocktails, and simple mixed drinks.**Schedule*** **Set Shifts:** Every Sunday and Monday (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM)* **Alternating Shifts:** Every other Saturday (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM)* **Flexibility:** Must be available to fill in for other shifts as needed.* *Operating Hours Reference: Sun–Thurs 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Fri–Sat 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM***Key Responsibilities*** **Bar Setup & Breakdown:** Complete daily pre-shift setup (stocking ice, disposable cups, napkins, garnishes, and inventory) and post-shift breakdown, trash removal, sanitizing, and securing all product at closing.* **Beverage Service:** Serve beer, wine, and simple, low-prep cocktails to hotel guests in disposable drinkware in accordance with brand standards.* **Guest Experience:** Deliver a warm, welcoming \"Homewood\" experience, offering local recommendations and friendly hospitality.* **Inventory & Ice Management:** Transport ice, disposable stock, and beverage inventory to the bar area, monitor product levels throughout the shift, and ensure the bar is fully prepped for the next day.* **Compliance & Safety:** Rigorously verify guest IDs, maintain strict adherence to Louisiana alcohol service laws, and keep the service counter clean, sanitized, and organized.**Qualifications & Requirements*** **Age:** Must be 21 years of age or older.* **Certifications:** Active State of Louisiana Responsible Vendor (RV) Server Card / City Permit required prior to start date.* **Knowledge:** Basic understanding of beer, wine, and simple cocktail service.* **Physical Demands:** Ability to transport ice buckets/beverage crates (up to 30–40 lbs) and stand for the full duration of the shift.
