Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Huntley, IL is seeking a part-time Supply Chain Specialist I, Logistics for a 20-hour weekly schedule. You will perform inventory ordering and replenishment, receiving, equipment, linen, and mail tasks within the Supply Chain team.

You will work to meet KPIs, analyze inventory levels, support process improvements, and coordinate with clinical staff on product changes while assisting internal customers with supply chain issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or two years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Computer literate – ability to learn various programs.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly under pressure.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to think critically.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work for inventory, receiving, equipment, linen and mail.
• Maintain data integrity in WaveMark and PeopleSoft.
• Identify stock shortages and notify management.
• Conduct routine audits of supplies, linen, and equipment.
• Assist with special projects and daily huddles.
• Provide friendly, accurate information to users and colleagues.
• Promote safety and proper equipment use.
