Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a hospital location in Ventura, CA. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while enforcing hospital security procedures and policies.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling facilities, and monitoring access points, with a focus on safety and compassionate service in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required per driver policy.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and coordinate with hospital personnel and responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors, staff, and vendors per access-control procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and escalate concerns as needed.
