Job summary

Allied Universal in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Hospital Incident Response Driver) to protect patients, visitors, and staff across a healthcare setting. You will patrol, monitor, and deter incidents while supporting morgue access and patient safety with a compassionate approach.

The role offers part-time hours with a scheduled Wed 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Thu 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Fri 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shifts.

Qualifications

At least two years of security-related experience.
Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
Ability to restrain individuals when necessary.
A valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide security services to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following site policies and emergency procedures.
Respond to incidents in a calm, solution-focused manner within a healthcare setting.
Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facility areas, entrances, and parking areas.
Monitor access points and report any unusual activity or policy concerns.
Assist with maintaining orderly environments and document incidents per site requirements.
