Allied Universal in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Hospital Driver to provide reliable security services at a healthcare facility. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position pays $20.20 per hour and requires at least 2 years of security experience, plus hospital vaccination and a valid driver's license. This role supports patient and staff safety while offering flexible hours and career growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security experience.
• Hospital vaccinations required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as required.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Assist with visitor management, access control, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in patient care and public areas.
• Document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders.
